Postmodern Times is a series of short animated films presenting new ideas about global consciousness and techniques for social and ecological transformation. Our first episode, "Toward 2012", introduces the project, explaining concepts from the best-selling book, "2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl" (Tarcher/Penguin, 2006) by Daniel Pinchbeck, in the author's own voice. Jacob Bronowski's The Ascent of Man was a groundbreaking documentary from the BBC in 1973. It belongs in a short list of the best documentaries of all time right along with Carl Sagan's Cosmos and James Burke's The Day the Universe Changed. If you haven't seen it yet you are missing out on something great.
