Some don't know that if you hover your cursor over the up and down arrows, it'll show you who voted under each.
If you can't see all the voters, just right click (sorry, mac'ers) and select 'properties', stretch the window out, or highlight the names (it'll scroll) to see the rest.
Cool, it works on Mac with "Ctrl+Click" on the arrow! Thanks!

One thing that has always bothered me: You can only see the first few names of the users who upvoted, with no way to expand the list. Is this maybe only a firefox thing?

Videosift beware - Yet another malevolent gold star member (Woohoo Talk Post)
I had to post my own gold 100 thread, so don't feel too bad, syncron. I mean, feel a bit bad, but not too bad.
Sometimes the community needs a while until it syncs in...
Congrats from me!

you know, this might be better if you explained what the hell the ad is you're talking about.
I have no idea what this is in relation to, so it makes no sense at all to me.

Using a promote to double-upvote? (Geek Talk Post)
By design, no one has the privilege of more than one vote for a candidate just because he has more money or a higher social status. And that´s exactly why democracies work.
Regarding the unfairness concern:
In my opinion a gold star power user is no better judge of a video than a "P" user who just joined, or a lurker who never submits any videos.
Someone who just donated 50 bucks is no better judge of a video than the person who can´t afford to donate any money.
A vote should never have a price!
I see where you are coming from, and like I said, I also often feel the urge to upvote twice on clips, but In general I just don´t think this site would profit from users being able to "buy" videos to the top. Influencing the popularity of a clip with money also devalues your first vote, causing unnecessary inflation. Pretty soon you will have to upvote everything twice or it won`t get anywhere.
